Melbourne, Victoria, Australia beBeeImplementation Full time $120,000 - $140,000
Technical Support Specialist

At our organization, we strive to accelerate software builds and tests. Our cloud-based service optimizes developer workflows through remote execution and caching, improving efficiency, productivity, and product quality.

We're looking for a Technical Support Specialist to be the technical voice our customers rely on. You'll support engineering teams during trials and ongoing use, help them integrate and optimize their build workflows, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a world-class experience.

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for trialing, new, and existing customers—offering guidance as they adopt and scale our platform.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve complex issues with build systems, integrations, and environments.
  • Help customers optimize their use of our products and ensure smooth adoption within their developer workflows.
  • Partner with Engineering to surface and track product bugs, performance regressions, and feature feedback from the field.
  • Create and maintain internal and external documentation to improve future support and empower developers.
  • Engage with the broader community via forums, Slack, GitHub, and conferences—representing our voice with empathy and technical clarity.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, technical support, SRE, or developer-facing roles.
  • Strong understanding of developer workflows and build systems (experience with Bazel or Buck/Buck2 is a plus).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or JavaScript).
  • Comfortable in a Linux/Unix environment with experience in tools like Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift).
  • Great communicator—able to explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing and on calls.
  • Experience writing or contributing to technical documentation or internal knowledge bases.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping engineers solve tough problems.

Benefits:

  • We offer comprehensive medical, dental, vision benefits, 401k/pension, parental leave, and generous vacation.
  • The team is fully remote but enjoys meeting together several times a year at exciting destinations throughout the world.
  • We value getting work done and having fun while doing it, and have done numerous fun team events such as chocolate, whisky, and tea tastings, monthly team games, escape the room, and other fun events.
