Comprehensive Legal Services Specialist

About the Position:
- Pursue a challenging role in legal services for a leading regional health service.
The successful candidate will be a valuable member of our General Counsel team, providing expert legal advice and support across various areas, including:
- Health law, commercial contracts, property rights, and privacy regulations.
- Medico-legal matters and litigation claims advice and management.
We seek candidates with experience in healthcare or commercial law and exceptional communication skills to convey complex issues in plain language.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent tertiary qualification from a recognized university.
- Admission to practice as an Australian lawyer, with a current practicing certificate allowing practice as a legal practitioner in Victoria or NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on various aspects of health law, including contract review and negotiation, property law, and medico-legal matters.
- Support the General Counsel team in managing litigation claims and complaints advice and resolution.
