We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, with experience in designing and implementing geotechnical solutions for mining and infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating geotechnical field investigation programs, working closely with engineers-of-record on long-term operational projects, and developing geotechnical assessments and analysis capabilities.

You will also be required to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, participate in national and international conferences, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (required)
  • Be eligible for membership of Engineers Australia and either have or be working towards CPENG status (required)
  • 1-5+ years of consulting experience operating within a geotechnical practice group
  • Experience with using geotechnical logging software (Tablogs, Holebase, etc)
  • Competent in the use of GIS or CAD package/s
  • Working knowledge of geotechnical investigation standards and practices
  • Strong understanding of Health and Safety planning, processes and procedures
