About the Role


We are seeking a skilled and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our Gaming Operations team at Bankstown Sports Club.



Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience for our patrons. This includes maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment in accordance with club policies and procedures.


You will also be required to enforce and implement our Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) policy, as well as communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen, and other areas of operation.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Providing patrons with an exceptional customer experience
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
  • Enforcing and implementing RSA and RCG policy
  • Courteous, welcoming, and informative manner when at work
  • Communicating and liaising with team members and other areas of operation
  • FOLLOWING HYGIENIC FOOD AND BEVERAGE HANDLING PROCEDURES
  • Accurate, efficient, and effective operation of Keno terminals
  • Ensuring all guest and member complaints are dealt with promptly and effectively
  • Cash handling duties when required
  • Ensuring the security of the club's cash and physical assets
  • Taking and delivering orders promptly
  • Assisting with club activities and promotions
  • Knowledge of the club's activities, functions, events, and promotions
  • Identifying and reporting any unsafe equipment, practice, or person of interest
  • Maintaining workplace hygiene, work health and safety, and security procedures


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • RSA and RCG Competency Card or willingness to obtain
  • Flexible availability including weekends and night shifts
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Able to work in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Good organisational skills
  • High level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good personal presentation
  • The ability to deal with unexpected situations
  • A commitment to providing a high standard of customer service
  • Willingness to learn
  • Responsible attitude to industry health and safety regulations
