Senior Financial Policy Advisor

This is an exciting chance to join a team responsible for the development, review and interpretation of financial management policy and legislation.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist advice on financial management policy, regulation and reporting issues to stakeholders within the organization and across government entities.
- Stay up-to-date with contemporary financial management issues and emerging trends in both the public and for-profit sectors.
- Develop subject-matter expertise on specific issues to enable the team to provide well considered and authoritative advice.
- Assist with the provision of financial management, accounting, budgeting, and reporting services as needed.
- Experience analysing, interpreting and providing advice on financial management legislation and policy frameworks.
- Experience in managing financial management projects.
- A strong desire to develop skills, experience and judgement.
- A willingness to take on a range of responsibilities and tasks.
- Leadership capability to motivate people to achieve shared goals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
