Policy and Support Specialist

This role is a key member of the department's allied health strategy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating high-level policy advice and leading strategic projects.

The position involves working under direction to prepare and provide briefings and reports for senior officials and ministers on allied health professional policy issues.

You will also support project activities, including administration, coordination, and preparation of reports. Additionally, you will provide executive support to the Chief Allied Health Officer and Deputy Chief Allied Health Advisor, as well as general administrative support to the team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, along with experience in providing policy and support services in a demanding environment.
  • Project management principles, critical thinking, research, and analytical skills are highly valued.
