Legal Counsel Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on a wide range of matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, mining law, and employment law. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage meaningfully at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on corporate governance, mining, employment, procurement, and compliance matters
  • Supporting mergers and acquisitions, takeover activities, and divestment transactions
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal agreements
  • Monitoring and assessing compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory developments
Requirements:
  • Commercially astute and strategically minded
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across all levels
  • Ability to deliver pragmatic, commercially sound legal advice in a dynamic business environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Law and admitted to practice in Western Australia
