When we grow, you grow.With an exceptional track record of success in production delivery coupled with the acquisition of strategic additions to the company portfolio, we are driven to achieve our vision of being a 500koz gold producer by FY30.The RoleAs Senior Legal Counsel, you'll provide expert legal advice across a broad spectrum of corporate, commercial, regulatory and operational matters.
You'll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to manage legal risk across the business and support strategic transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:Advising on a wide range of legal matters including corporate governance, mining, employment, procurement, and complianceSupporting mergers and acquisitions, takeover activities and divestment transactions including conducting due diligence and preparing transaction documentationDrafting, reviewing and negotiating complex legal agreementsMonitoring and assessing compliance with relevant legislation, ASX Listing Rules and regulatory developmentsCollaborating with internal stakeholders to promote strong governance and risk management practicesManaging relationships with external legal advisors and other stakeholdersEnsuring alignment with the Company's Code of Conduct, policies, and safety standardsAssisting with company secretarial activitiesAbout YouYou are a commercially astute and strategically minded Senior Legal Counsel with the ability to influence and engage meaningfully at all levels.
You are proactive and solutions focused, with a calm and pragmatic approach.
You bring:Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisationAbility to deliver pragmatic, commercially sound legal advice in a dynamic business environmentSignificant demonstrated experience, ideally across both private practice and in-house rolesTertiary qualification in Law and admitted to practice in Western AustraliaStrong working knowledge of the legal regime applicable to mining and exploration in Western AustraliaProven experience in M&A transactions, commercial negotiations, and regulatory complianceExperience across corporate, commercial, employment, litigation and regulatory matters is desirableIn this varied role you will work alongside a collaborative and values-driven leadership team, in an outcomes-focused environment.
This role is offered on a Monday-Friday basis.
