As a Lived Experience Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of staff and participate in the leadership and co-design of future service developments.

Your New Role

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, committed to working with consumers during their recovery by offering holistic and evidence-based treatment. Your role involves actively participating in your own practice development, engaging in learning opportunities, and sharing your knowledge with colleagues.

You will collaborate closely with consumer peer support coordinators, consumer consultants, consumer peer workers, clinicians, other practice leaders, and the leadership team to support our vision "Make a Difference". As a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and well-organised mental health leader, you will be responsible for managing a range of issues simultaneously and prioritising effectively.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must have personal lived experience as a consumer of mental health services, be a true team player with confidence and desire to share your wisdom, knowledge, and experience. You should also demonstrate capacity for strategic thinking, planning, and implementation, as well as compassion and resilience in sharing the consumer voice.
