This goal drives our efforts from initial research through to product development. Our team has been at the forefront of cancer immunotherapy for the past thirty years, establishing us as a leader in engineered T cell therapy, which represents a potential paradigm shift in cancer treatment.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the permanent role of Cell Therapy Account Manager (CTAM). This position will be based in Sydney and is integral to our team responsible for the successful market introduction of our CAR T portfolio and future products.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary commercial liaison for designated hospitals and referral centers. Address all customer inquiries and ensure a positive experience with Gilead and our offerings. Facilitate the identification of suitable patients for treatment. Collaborate with internal partners to enhance customer satisfaction. Navigate complex hospital environments to understand and address the needs of various stakeholders. Maintain regular communication with colleagues in Quality, Pharmacovigilance, Marketing, and Customer Engagement. Engage with hematology specialists to ensure appropriate patient referrals to qualified treatment centers. Continuously develop expertise in disease states and product knowledge. Gather customer insights and provide timely follow-up on commitments. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Build and maintain significant relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within treatment centers.

Specific Duties

Support and coordinate the qualification process for selected hospitals. Collaborate with marketing to implement brand strategies and promotional activities. Lead the development and execution of strategic account and commercial plans aligned with corporate objectives. Monitor account activities against goals and provide ongoing feedback to the marketing team. Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively. Foster productive relationships with cross-functional teams within Kite Pharma and Gilead. Establish connections with key opinion leaders and senior leadership within accounts. Provide support at professional meetings, including staffing exhibits and reporting on scientific sessions.

Qualifications and Skills

A minimum of 5 years of experience in hematology sales. Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer support across various stakeholder groups. Demonstrated initiative and urgency in a fast-paced environment. Experience working as part of a high-performing team. Familiarity with products or therapies requiring complex delivery logistics. Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. A scientific background or related graduate-level degree is preferred. In-depth understanding of the hematology/oncology market in Australia. Experience launching products within academic hospitals is essential. Proven track record in managing large accounts, strategic planning, and problem-solving. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Willingness to travel as required. Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities. Capacity to build consensus across multiple teams. Proven success in communicating and executing organizational goals and brand strategies.
