Residential Property Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee the provision of all aspects of residential accommodation for staff, contractors, and visitors in the South of Tasmania.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position working 76 hours per fortnight with the possibility of on-call duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the provision of residential accommodation, including coordination of tenancies, furnishing, service connection, maintenance, and cleaning.

You will be the single point of contact for all issues related to accommodation in the area, including liaison, negotiation, and issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders and tenants.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in real estate or property management, together with a demonstrated understanding and use of relevant legislation.
  • They will also possess high-level interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively establish and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the provision of residential accommodation for staff, contractors, and visitors in the South of Tasmania.

Coordinate tenancies, furnishing, service connection, maintenance, and cleaning.

Liaise, negotiate, and resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders and tenants.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in real estate or property management.
  • High-level interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
