Water Operations Role

This position presents an opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of water networks in Emerald.

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned or responsive activities, repairs to water, wastewater and recycled water networks, and within treatment plants as required.

In this role, you will support the organisation by:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance activities as directed on water, sewer and recycled water networks. Performing manual and general laboring duties as required.
  • Undertaking responsive maintenance activities as directed on water, sewer and recycled water networks and within treatment plants if required. Performing manual and general laboring duties as required.
  • Participating in an on-call roster system as a crew member to undertake after-hours responsive or planned maintenance activities.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • A current Queensland C Class Drivers Licence.
  • A General Construction Industry Card
  • Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or willingness to obtain during employment.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake working at heights, breathing apparatus and confined spaces training.
