Water Network Crew Member

This is a unique opportunity to join our water network team in Emerald and gain skills and grow within the industry with the completion of Certificate III in Water Industry Operations, fully funded by the council.

The role involves supporting the organisation by undertaking planned maintenance activities on water, sewer, and recycled water networks, as well as carrying out manual and general labouring duties. You will also participate in an on-call roster system as a crew member to undertake after-hours responsive or planned maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake planned maintenance activities as directed on water, sewer, and recycled water networks. Carry out manual and general labouring duties as required.

  • Participate in an on-call roster system as a crew member to undertake after-hours responsive or planned maintenance activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Queensland C Class Drivers Licence.
  • General Construction Industry Card.
  • Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or willingness to obtain during employment.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake working at heights, breathing apparatus, and confined spaces training.
