Senior Risk Management Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Risk Management Specialist. This position will play a critical part in ensuring that our organization remains at the forefront of risk management, utilizing cutting-edge strategies to mitigate potential threats.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial crime regulations, as well as expertise in data analysis and intelligence gathering. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are also essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to protect our organization from financial crime.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and anomalies, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of risk management initiatives across the organization.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance the risk awareness and skills of colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of risk assessments, control implementation, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Stay informed about emerging risks and regulatory requirements, making recommendations for updates to our risk management framework as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in risk management, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or economics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Familiarity with financial crime regulations, including AML/CTF, sanctions, and ABC risk environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or MATLAB.
