About the Role:

  • Manage workflow and prioritize activities to meet customer expectations and provide exceptional service.
  • Assist in preparing complex customer lending applications and ensure they are completed in line with company standards.
  • Drive and support the portfolio management process, including covenant monitoring and credit excesses management.
  • Attend customer meetings when appropriate.
  • Assist customers with various transaction, product, and service information as requested.
  • Educate customers about available digital channels to simplify their experience and enhance their needs.
  • Completion of financial modeling tasks and interpretation of complex financial and property transaction information for both property investment and development lending transactions.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with customers and credit.
  • Contribute to quality, consistency, and continuous improvement practices in the DS&E team with emphasis on the quality of credit submissions and management of business risks.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor associates in the team alongside the Associate Director.

Requirements:

  • Previous business banking and commercial lending experience – ideally gained in a Corporate or Institutional Banking environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business (or related discipline).
  • Demonstrate strong skills in credit, financial modeling, transaction structuring, and documentation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholders' management skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
