The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Support Manager to join our team and lead the operation of the P-8A Product Management System.

As Product Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in product lifecycle planning, product fleet planning, improving product supportability, product support system modelling, and monitoring product performance for the P-8A Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the operation of the P-8A Product Management System, ensuring effective management and utilization of P-8A Products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supportability challenges, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance overall system availability and capability.
  • Lead support system modeling activities, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to simulate and optimize product performance and maintenance/logistics support strategies.
  • Develop fleet planning strategies to optimize product availability, maintenance schedules, and operational readiness.
  • Develop and implement product management plans and best practices to ensure compliance with Defence Product Management policy (aligned with ISO 55000 Asset Management principles).
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in product/asset management, preferably in the aerospace or Defence industry.
  • Familiarity with Defence Product Management and/or ISO 55000 Asset Management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capability to drive change and influence others.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
