Job Title:

Enterprise Firewall Security Specialist

Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to provide expert-level security support and maintenance for our corporate firewall environment.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing firewalls in a large enterprise setting, collaborating with operational teams to ensure system security and compliance with industry frameworks.

Key focus areas include supporting existing customers through technical solutions, providing in-depth analysis of existing firewalls and security architecture, and making recommendations for system enhancements.

Additional duties include analysing network traffic, troubleshooting performance issues, and taking ownership of our Fortigate product offering.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Cybersecurity and security operations
  • Strong technical knowledge of FortiGate
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine optimal solutions
  • Good understanding of industry standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration, networking, scripting, and automation
  • Self-motivation to learn new tools and products quickly
