About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious professional to join our Corporate Finance practice in Adelaide. This is a unique opportunity to build on our success and take the next step in your career.

Responsibilities

  1. Work on a diverse range of mandates including buy-side, sell-side, valuation, financial modeling, and corporate advisory mandates.
  2. Collaborate with a broad range of clients including publicly listed companies, large private companies, government, and private equity groups.
  3. Prepare pricing materials and valuation reports, including detailed financial models and completion of financial analysis.
  4. Provide valuable financial due diligence insights to buyers and vendors.
  5. Assist with the preparation of key transaction documentation including teaser documents, information memorandums, and company presentations.
  6. Support the day-to-day responsibility of execution on transactions, including interaction with clients, financiers, and legal advisers.
  7. Identify, investigate, and pursue business development opportunities to generate future revenue for the team.

What We Are Looking For

  1. Professional services, investment banking, or corporate development experience.
  2. An appetite, enthusiasm, and passion for corporate finance, underpinned with a strong work ethic and a strong motivation to achieve best outcomes for clients, KPMG, and yourself.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  4. A driven, self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for a career in corporate finance.
  5. A strong team ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  6. Strong technical and time management skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service while managing competing demands and strict deadlines.

Requirements

  1. Hold tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Law, or similar.
  2. Demonstrate a strong academic record and the ability to commence or continue relevant postgraduate studies (CA, Masters in Finance, CFA).
