Receptionist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a close-knit team environment.

The Role Overview

You will be the first point of contact for our guests, greeting arrivals, assisting with bookings, providing island information, and ensuring a warm welcome every time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Handle reservations and general enquiries effectively (phone, email, in person)
  • Coordinate daily transport schedules (boat/ferry arrivals & departures)
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the guest experience
  • Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Manage point-of-sale and basic administrative duties
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of receptionist or front-of-house experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A friendly, proactive, and professional demeanour
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team
  • Sound computer literacy (booking systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Willingness to adapt to a remote, island-based lifestyle
Essential Considerations:
  • Must have Australian permanent working rights
  • Working holiday visas will not be considered
  • A minimum 12-month commitment is required
  • 18 years and over only
