Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at the Illinois CPA Society. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing expert tax advice and planning.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a trusted advisor to a large number of partner family groups
- Manage the tax compliance lodgements for your portfolio
- Review of financial accounts and tax returns for a variety of entities
- Provide specialist tax advice and planning
- Delegate and monitor workflow
- Mentor upcoming talent in the team
- Assist Principals/Directors/Senior Managers with complex tax advisory projects
We are a multidisciplinary team of tax and accounting professionals who strive to be trusted advisors to our Senior Exec team. This role is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for building relationships with internal clients and to develop your tax expertise whilst being part of a highly reputable organization.
Requirements- Experience in managing a tax compliance program
- A strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax laws
- CAANZ or CPA qualification
- Extensive experience (minimum 5 years preferable) in a business services role or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
