This challenging role offers the opportunity to utilize your advanced skills and education in a dynamic emergency setting. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies.
Your expertise will be utilized to assess, manage, diagnose, prescribe, and make direct referrals, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, grounded in nursing values, to provide comprehensive care to those in need.
The successful candidate will have authorization to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and will have successfully completed a Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia (NMBA) approved nurse practitioner program of study at Master's level or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct Impact on Patient Journey: As a Nurse Practitioner in an emergency setting, you will directly impact the patient's journey when they enter the emergency or urgent care center.
- Provide High-Quality Patient-Centered Care: You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care, utilizing your advanced skills and education to deliver evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, grounded in nursing values, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
