Fleet and Asset Management Overview

As a National Fleet and Project Coordinator at Nokia, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vehicle fleet and asset management. This position ensures the efficient utilization, maintenance, and record-keeping of all company vehicles and assets, including generators, trailers, and other physical resources.

This role supports Nokia in managing our customer fleet of assets as required by the Field team. The Coordinator will work closely with various departments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company policies and regulations.

The job entails coordinating and managing the company's fleet, including acquisition, registration, servicing, maintenance, and disposal. Scheduling and overseeing routine maintenance and repairs are also key responsibilities, ensuring vehicles are safe and operational.

A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, regulations, and asset management principles is essential for this role. Additionally, proficiency in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

In consultation with Nokia HS&E, ensure all vehicles, generators, and assets comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Accurate and up-to-date records, including registration, insurance, inspection reports, and maintenance logs, must be maintained.

This position promotes and enforces safety protocols and best practices for vehicle operation and asset usage. Investigating and reporting accidents, incidents, or damage involving company vehicles or assets are critical tasks.

Key stakeholders include Reports to National Field Services Manager, Procurement, Field State managers, All Field staff, External car leasing companies, and Insurance and repair companies.

This role requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration and problem-solving.
