Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with strong commercial experience to deliver multiple IT projects concurrently for a prominent organisation in Brisbane CBD. This role will require exceptional leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and deliver multiple IT projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including internal resources and external vendors, to deliver projects successfully.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Oversee vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations as required.
  • Drive post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects, ideally within software-focused domains.
  • Commercial experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering software projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisation.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent).
