Hotel Maintenance Assistant
\You will be assisting the Department Manager in maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings of the hotel. You will be working as part of our maintenance team to ensure that the hotel remains a functional, pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and colleagues.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out maintenance requirements and follow up on scheduled tasks by the property's Property Management System.\
- Assist in keeping records of repair and maintenance of plant and equipment up to date.\
- Liaise with supervisors/managers/contractors regarding work in guest rooms and public areas to bring back into use out-of-order areas of the hotel as soon as possible.\
- Complete daily plant rounds and note any faulty equipment or plant for repair.\
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.\
- Conduct regular inspections of plant and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.\
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.\
- Develop and maintain a clean and organized workspace to improve efficiency and productivity.\
- Engage with colleagues and external partners to build strong working relationships.\
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement measures to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.\
