With more than 70,000+ pieces of equipment, our strategically placed national branch network ensures we can fulfill our customers' rental plant and machinery requirements wherever their next project is located, whilst remaining nimble enough to support local projects.

**Description**:
In this role you will safely and successfully lead the portables yard team and coordinate resources and jobs, in line with budget requirements to maximise hire.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Prioritise and allocate the completion of cleaning, maintenance and repair jobs for the portables fleet to meet deadlines and maximise equipment availability for hire
- Ensure all necessary materials, tools and equipment are available to allow for efficient completion of jobs
- Train, supervise and mentor employees to ensure high standards of work are achieved and employees are provided the opportunity to learn and develop in their roles
- Ensure all cleaning, maintenance and repair activities are completed in accordance with Onsite policies, processes, and procedures and relevant Australian building codes
- Ensure the portables fleet is branded in accordance with Onsite's branding guidelines and presented to a high standard
- Inspect all equipment upon return and immediately report, record and notify in relation to customer damage to allow costs to be captured / recouped
- Assist in the completion of cleaning, maintenance and repair jobs for the portables fleet
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted for self and team
- Assist the Branch Manager to undertake people related requirements for your team including; recruitment & selection, onboarding, performance management, learning & development
- Provide technical support & guidance to internal & external stakeholders
- Assist in the completion of stocktakes and asset disposals
- Ensure workshop / yard set up is appropriate for tasks undertaken and high standard of housekeeping is maintained

**Skills and Experience**:

- High Risk Work Licence
- Current Drivers Licence
- Relevant experience in equipment rental, construction or an industrial environment
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and practical requirements
- Handyperson with strong aptitude for hand-on, building tasks
- Ability to promote, influence and drive a positive safety culture
- Exceptional planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to multitask and be flexible
