This role involves assessing behaviours of concern and implementing tailored interventions to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with individuals, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support and effective implementation of behaviour support plans.

About the Role
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including functional behaviour analysis, to identify factors influencing challenging behaviours.
  • Design and implement person-centred behaviour support plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support and effective plan implementation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Behaviour Support Framework.
  • Provide guidance on written behaviour support plans to team members.
  • Offer training, education, and support to staff to achieve billable targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation counselling, or related field.
  • NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission BSP Accredited - Advanced (or above).
  • Experience working with children or young people in behaviour support roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
