Job Overview

The Behaviour Support Clinical Leader Advanced role plays a pivotal part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by assessing and mitigating behaviours of concern.

This involves conducting comprehensive assessments, such as functional behaviour analysis, to identify factors influencing behaviours of concern. The successful candidate will also design and implement person-centred behaviour support plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies to address identified behaviours.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessment activities, including functional behaviour analysis
  • Designing and implementing person-centred behaviour support plans
  • Collaborating closely with individuals, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensuring adherence to best practice and relevant regulations
  • Providing training, education, and support to team members

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation counselling, or related health/disability studies
  • NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission BSP Accredited - Advanced (or above)
  • Experience in behaviour support with children/young people
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead staff
