Teaching Position in Music

The role of a Music Teacher is multifaceted, encompassing instructional and pastoral responsibilities. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative curricula that foster academic excellence.

  • Design and deliver engaging music programs, aligning with the school's ethos.
  • Effectively manage curriculum requirements for their classes, ensuring seamless implementation of programs, registers, assessment, feedback, and reporting.
  • Implement established protocols and strategies, promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Provide empathetic pastoral care to students through leading regular House Tutor groups.

We are seeking a dedicated Christian who embodies the values of our institution. The successful candidate must be actively involved in the life of a Reformed Evangelical Church and support our vision of holistic Christian education.

Requirements
  • A deep commitment to Christian education and the ability to model Christian maturity within the college community.
  • Accredited teaching status, preferably with Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA.
  • A valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC).
  • Familiarity with relevant compliance requirements in schools.

This position offers a competitive salary package under the Independent Schools NSW (Teachers) Cooperative Multi Enterprise Agreement 2025, taking into account training and experience.

Reporting directly to the Head of Creative Arts and also to the Deputy Principal Senior School and the Principal.
