About the RoleWe are seeking a Physiotherapy Aide to join our Anglicare Health Centre team in Castle Hill. As a Physiotherapy Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the physical mobility and quality of life of our clients by following individual routines, reporting changes, and supporting the provision of physiotherapy.
This is a permanent part-time position, working 24 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our physiotherapists to deliver best care, assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments, and ensure treatment areas are prepared.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, documenting accordingly.
- Ensure treatment areas are prepared, and in some cases, clients are delivered to treatment areas in preparation for their physiotherapy treatments.
- Plan and implement maintenance routines to ensure equipment is well-maintained and available for use.
- Assist with administration, covering reception as required, and maintaining the hydrotherapy pool.
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specializing in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
- Experience in physiotherapy assistance.
