The Role
  • Lead daily team briefings to set focus and energise the team.
  • Monitor and review key performance indicators, implementing action plans to drive results.
  • Support and coach team members through regular one-on-one sessions and development plans.
  • Manage customer records and sales leads to maximise conversion and retention.
  • Act as a second point of contact for customers, adding value and resolving concerns.
  • Analyse sales trends and produce reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and manage team resources, including rotas and annual leave.
  • Champion team recognition and celebrate success.
  • Enhance the team's presence on social media to support brand visibility.
  • Contribute to long-term people and performance strategies.
  • Take charge of the sales team in the absence of the Sales Manager.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in a car sales environment or leadership experience in a fast-paced retail setting.
  • An articulate and confident communicator with a positive attitude, capable of inspiring others to achieve results.
  • Exceptional ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships quickly.
  • Passionate and determined in approach.
  • Well organised with an analytical approach to problem solving.
  • A valid driving licence (occasional travel to other locations may be necessary).
