Senior Estimator Role Summary: This is a challenging and varied opportunity to work on civil, mining and earthworks projects. The Senior / Estimator will contribute to the successful delivery of projects across various sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, and environmental works. Key Responsibilities:
  • Tendering for new projects
  • Coordinating internal and external resources
  • Preparing and submitting tenders
  • Evaluating and reviewing tender and estimating processes
  • Negotiating with clients and subcontractors
  • Coordinating tender handovers to project teams
Required Skills and Qualifications: Main Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
  • 5-10+ years' management experience on civil construction projects with values between $5m and $20m+
  • A proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • A high level of commercial acumen
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
