Serve and safeguard a high-profile healthcare customer as a Hospital Security Officer.
- Ensure the security of patients, staff, and visitors by observing for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
- Patrol hospital grounds to identify and address unsafe conditions, security breaches, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individuals.
- De-escalate conflicts through effective communication and intervention, as needed.
- Regularly inspect security devices and fire control equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Screen individuals for admittance to the facility, expediting access while maintaining safety protocols.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, such as fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, and inclement weather.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles, troubleshooting, or managing high-pressure situations.
- Age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed positions; 21 years old for armed positions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of verifiable work experience acceptable in lieu of education.
