Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Buildability Group.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in estimating and cost planning, with experience in preparing tender submissions and managing estimating teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of initial estimating assessments and trade break-ups of documentation
  • Liaising with subcontractors to ensure accurate scope of works and programmes
  • Final preparation and presentation of rated and coded Bills of Quantities and cost plans
  • Comparison and analysis of subcontractor pricing
  • Regular meetings with subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and accurate bids
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 2-3 years local experience in estimating for a principal contractor or relevant site experience
  • Experience across various tendering formats, including competitive lump sum and cost planning
  • Able to produce cost plans and budget estimates with limited information
  • High-level computer skills and numeracy, including proficiency in Buildsoft, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Word
