Electrical Team Lead Position

This exciting opportunity involves leading a workshop team and overseeing the maintenance and repair of generators and welding equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and excellent diagnostic abilities. They must be able to motivate and manage a team, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

  1. Technical Responsibilities:
  • Repair and diagnose generators ranging from 20kVA to 500kVA.
  • Maintain and test welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform on-site testing, calibration, and inspections for clients using advanced electronic systems.
  • Conduct workshop testing with load banks of up to 1,000 amps for welders and 500kVA for power generators.
Leadership Duties:
  • Lead and mentor workshop staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high performance.
  • Assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
  • Oversee work completed in the workshop to ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Electrician with relevant trade certifications.
  • Proven experience supervising and managing a workshop team.
  • Strong knowledge of generator and welding equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
