You will also be responsible for training and upskilling team members, providing guidance and support to maintain high performance. With your leadership experience and organizational skills, you will effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain an organized workshop.

We are seeking a certified electrician with relevant trade certifications and proven experience supervising and managing a workshop team. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team, are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:

1. Generator Repairs: Diagnose and repair generators ranging from 20kVA to 500kVA, including Caterpillar and Denyo models.
2. Welding Equipment Maintenance: Test and service mains-powered and engine-driven welding machines to ensure top performance.
3. Maintenance Services: Perform on-site testing, calibration, and inspections for clients using advanced electronic systems.
4. Workshop Testing: Conduct workshop testing with load banks of up to 1,000 amps for welders and 500kVA for power generators.
5. Fault Detection: Use tools such as graphical meters, VRD testing equipment, and predictive devices to identify and address potential issues.
6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service and repair logs to ensure compliance and provide client insights.
7. Client Support: Offer technical advice and solutions for clients' equipment maintenance and usage needs.
8. Leadership Duties: Lead and mentor workshop staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high performance.
9. Work Allocation: Assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
10. Quality Assurance: Oversee work completed in the workshop to ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
11. Training: Provide training and upskilling opportunities for team members to enhance their technical abilities.
12. Health & Safety: Promote a strong safety culture within the workshop, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
13. Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for escalated issues, providing solutions in a timely manner.
