Ecologist Role

We're seeking a skilled Ecologist to join our team. As an Ecologist, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality services and advice to clients and colleagues.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing delivery of ecological surveys and impact assessments, planning and participating in field survey programs, and interpreting environmental legislation.

You'll also be responsible for developing technical reports detailing the outcomes of field survey programs and implications for environmental impact assessment and management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 5-6+ years' experience in an ecological role in the environmental consulting sector or an equivalent role in Government.
  • Excellent flora and/or fauna identification skills.
  • Mature report writing and computer skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality written material for publication.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
