At MyHouse, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences and stylish collections of homewares and kitchenware. As the Assistant Store Manager - Shellharbour, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager to achieve overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a customer-centric culture and create a meaningful store experience through leadership by example
  • Develop and lead your team, aligning with business objectives to hit financial sales, profit, and productivity targets
  • Showcase visual merchandising expertise, transforming our store into an attractive haven that captures attention and creates a delightful atmosphere
  • Efficiently manage store rostering and wage expenses, maintaining commercial acumen
  • Oversee stock management (up to 15kg) in a fast-paced environment to ensure everything is in place for customers
  • Diligently track store sales performance, recognizing exceptional results and identifying opportunities for enhancement – communicate findings to peers and senior management
  • Collaborate closely with the Store Manager & Talent Acquisition team to identify and recruit dedicated retail professionals

About You:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant/Store Manager or Full-time worker
  • A passion for the retail industry is essential
  • Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and generate efficient rosters in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Operational excellence, experienced across stock control & keen eye for visual merchandising
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment, inspiring and exciting peers

Salary Estimate: Based on national averages and industry benchmarks, we estimate this role to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on a full-time equivalent salary and may vary based on individual circumstances.
