The Role:

As the Assistant Store Leader - Shellharbour, you will play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager to achieve overall success. You will work closely with the Store Manager to create a harmonious team environment, driving sales, profit, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a customer-centric culture and deliver a meaningful store experience through leadership by example
  • Develop and lead your team, aligning with the business to achieve financial sales, profit, and productivity goals
  • Showcase your expertise in Visual Merchandising, transforming the store into a visually appealing haven that captures attention and creates an atmosphere of delight
  • Oversee store rostering and wage expenses, maintaining a sharp focus on commercial acumen
  • Manage stock (up to 15kg) in a fast-paced environment, ensuring everything is in place for our customers' shopping experience
  • Track store sales performance, identifying exceptional results and pinpointing opportunities for enhancement, and communicate findings to peers and senior management
  • Closely collaborate with the Store Manager and Talent Acquisition team to identify and recruit dedicated retail professionals to join our organization

Work Arrangement:

32 hours, fortnightly rotating roster

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant/Store Manager or Full-time worker
  • A passion for the retail industry is essential
  • Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and generate efficient rosters in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Operational excellence, experienced across stock control, and a keen eye for visual merchandising
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspiring and exciting peers
