Job Title: Therapist for Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled therapist to join our team in providing evidence-based therapeutic drug and alcohol interventions to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering CBT based group programs, as well as supporting the delivery of best practice brief interventions within a clinical setting.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience delivering evidence-based group programs, particularly contemporary psychosocial interventions related to drug and alcohol.
  • A strong understanding of multi-disciplinary teamwork is essential, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver CBT based group programs for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
  • To provide individualized support to patients through best practice brief interventions.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
  • Strong knowledge of CBT principles and practices.
