About the Role

As a key member of the Victoria University Major Partnerships Team, the Account Coordinator, Major Partnerships, plays a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of partners. This involves developing, building, managing, and reporting on the impact of these partnerships to deliver mutual value to both Victoria University and partner organisations.

The role requires cultivating relationships to leverage partnership activities across the university, ensuring effective engagement with internal stakeholders, and providing high-level organisational and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure partners deliver as per partnership agreements, including engagement with relevant university areas.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to deliver activities and identified opportunities.
  • Provide input into cross-functional teams for broad consultation across the university.
  • Build and nurture relationships with partners, encouraging a collaborative approach and understanding their capacity to help deliver on objectives.
  • Provide high-level organisational and administrative support, including report preparation and updates to the governance committee.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and initiatives for Engagement and Advancement.
About the Person

Victoria University seeks an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join its dynamic Major Partnership Team. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record in account management, partnerships, relationship management, marketing, and/or sponsorship management.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels, from operational staff to Executives and CEOs, are essential. Well-developed interpersonal, written, and communication skills are also required.

The ability to prioritise partnerships and effectively solve problems as they arise is crucial. Event management and delivery experience are also desirable.
