Job Title: Logistics Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and skilled logistics delivery specialist to join our team in Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct local and regional deliveries/pick-ups requiring an HR license.
  • Operate forklift vehicles to facilitate loading/unloading tasks (forklift license required).
  • Ensure accurate reporting on driver runsheet.
  • Perform pre-start checks on equipment to maintain safety standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a current HR heavy vehicle drivers license and forklift license.
  • DG license highly regarded.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Excellent attention to detail and physical strength for labor-intensive tasks.
  • Previous express freight experience preferred.
  • Multidrop understanding of Newcastle or familiarity with drop-offs.
  • Clean criminal record and ability to start immediately.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Good knowledge of Newcastle and surrounding areas.
