Key Role: Clients & Markets Strategist
About the OpportunityThis role plays a crucial part in helping our organization achieve its goals through strategic pursuits. As a Clients & Markets Strategist, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of small-to-mid scale strategic pursuits from early positioning to onboarding.
Our ideal candidate has experience in pitch or pursuit, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and contribute to persuasive messaging. Strong coordination and project management skills are also essential, along with excellent communication skills and a growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Support and lead the delivery of small-to-mid scale strategic pursuits from early positioning through to onboarding.
- Work directly with partners to shape pursuit strategy, refine solution design, and ensure content reflects client needs, priorities, and differentiators.
- Assist in handovers and onboarding, coordinating playbook materials and transition points for relationship teams.
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen how we go to market, such as improving onboarding approaches and developing opportunity pipelines.
- Maintain and improve pursuit systems, templates, and content.
- Track performance data and share insights that support continuous improvement.
- Pitch or pursuit experience, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and contribute to persuasive messaging.
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Strong coordination and project management skills, with the ability to keep people and priorities moving under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
- A growth mindset and natural curiosity, with the ability to connect patterns and insights.
This isn't just coordination, and it's not just bid support. It's about enabling the firm to pursue, pitch, and deliver work in a way that's consistent, strategic, and effective.
