Job Description:

The School of Psychological Sciences is seeking a suitably qualified academic to contribute to innovative and impactful teaching and research in psychology at Macquarie University.

This role involves actively participating in the development, implementation, and delivery of units in the suite of undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses within the school. Additionally, you will engage in research that aligns with the school's strategic objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in psychology (or psychological sciences) and the capacity to design, deliver, and manage online and face-to-face content, lectures, tutorials, and assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A PhD or equivalent tertiary qualifications in Psychology are required.
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory.
  • Exceptional teaching skills and demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality learning and teaching are essential.
  • Demonstrated innovation in pedagogical teaching practice, including assessments and curriculum development, especially in the design and delivery of existing and new courses in psychological sciences, are also necessary.
