Maritime Structural Design Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and skilled senior engineer to lead the technical delivery of new and interesting maritime projects.
We are seeking a talented expert in structural design to deliver large-scale solutions for maritime facilities, including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability projects.
- Leverage your expertise in reinforced concrete and steel design in the marine environment, as well as experience with Australian and international design codes and guidelines.
- Drive innovation within the team and provide supervision, guidance, and mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in structural design, including reinforced concrete and steel in the marine environment.
- Significant experience in the design, evaluation, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
- Experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector.
- A Chartered Professional Engineer (or ability to get chartership within agreed timeframe).
- Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance.
