Principal Naval Architect

As a seasoned professional in the field of naval architecture, you will lead high-performing teams of engineers to design and install complex offshore structures. Your expertise will ensure seamless project execution while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Leads teams of engineers in conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses for the design and installation of offshore structures.
  • Performs comprehensive analyses, including design calculations and procedures, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Communicates complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Collaborates with structural engineers to provide installation loads on offshore structures.
  • Develops and implements effective project coordination and execution strategies.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and guidelines, applying this expertise to address complex problems and non-standard situations.

Required Experience: 15-20 years in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant, preferably leading teams of engineers and performing naval analysis.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture (Master's preferred).

Additional Requirements: Detailed knowledge of installation techniques and analysis methods, as well as project coordination and execution skills.
