HSE Consultant Role

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for assessing HSE standards and providing recommendations across various projects. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the safety and well-being of our community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and health and safety management. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide expert advice and support.

This role involves:

  1. Managing and responding to field-based activities to ensure effective environmental and safety practices are implemented
  2. Conducting comprehensive environmental and safety assessments and audits
  3. Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  4. Organizing your workload based on project timelines and priorities
  5. Working autonomously and making informed decisions based on your expertise

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field
  • Experience in conducting HSE assessments, audits, analyses, and investigations, demonstrating proficiency in field-based monitoring techniques
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • In-depth knowledge of safety and environmental law and legislation

About the Role:

This is a field-based role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for managing your own diary and organizing your workload based on project timelines and priorities.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide expert advice and support. Your duties will include:
