About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our Security team at Healthdirect Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and performing security implementation, monitoring, and follow-up in a multi-cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor security measures in a multi-cloud environment
  • Perform vulnerability and penetration testing
  • Conduct risk assessments of new and existing systems and initiatives
  • Collaborate with the team to execute diverse responsibilities in Incident Response, SIEM monitoring, and Vulnerability and Penetration testing

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in hands-on technical security roles, such as a SOC or Security Incident Responder
  • Experience in delivering security solutions on Azure and AWS cloud platforms
  • Strong understanding of web application security and APIs, frameworks such as OWASP
  • Understanding and awareness of frameworks such as ACSC E8
