Job Opportunity: Children's Services Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our child care services in the role of Children's Services Coordinator.

">

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and care, with extensive experience in long day care and family day care. They will oversee the management of Scallywags Long Day Care and Preschool, as well as Bathurst Family Day Care.

The successful applicant will provide innovative leadership, guidance, and support to staff, educators, and stakeholders. They will also be required to communicate effectively at all levels and mentor a large team.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

">
  • ">
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education">
  • Extensive experience in a similar role (minimum 3 years)">
  • Competent understanding of relevant trends and legislation in the education and care sector">
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills that promote high team performance">
  • Ability to think strategically with a capacity for lateral thinking, creativity, and problem-solving">
  • Understanding of operational and administrative requirements of an Education and Care service">
  • Demonstrated experience in managing business processes">
  • High level of communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of staff and the general public">
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the capacity to work to deadlines and set priorities">
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment">
  • Current approved or willingness to obtain upon appointment, First Aid and Anaphylaxis Management training">
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence">
  • Current approved or willingness to obtain upon appointment Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025)">
  • Able to comply with the requirements of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013 through the provision of a Working with Children Check Clearance">
