Charles Sturt University is seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join our Division of Information Technology as Director, Service Management. This senior role is central to modernising our ICT operating model, enhancing service delivery, and driving a customer-focused approach across the University.

As Director, Service Management, you'll lead the teams responsible for infrastructure, networks, systems, and ICT security, ensuring our technology environment is robust, reliable, and future ready. If you thrive in managing complex systems and safeguarding digital assets, this is your opportunity to protect and power the core of our ICT operations. Your leadership will drive resilience, performance, and trust in every digital interaction across the University.

We're looking for a passionate leader to join us on one of our vibrant regional campuses. If you're not currently located within a reasonable commuting distance, we'll happily support your relocation. Our core teams are based in Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, and Wagga Wagga, offering a collaborative and community-focused environment where your contribution will make a real impact. Other campus locations will be reviewed upon request.

About you

You are a proven ICT leader with:

  • Experience in managing large-scale service delivery functions in complex environments
  • A strong understanding of ITIL, service management frameworks, and digital transformation
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to collaboration and innovation
  • The ability to align technology services with strategic priorities and deliver measurable outcomes
