Lead Bar Manager - Perth Airport

We are seeking a seasoned and charismatic Lead Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling Gage Road Sports Bar venue at Perth Airport.

This dynamic role requires an exceptional leader with excellent communication skills, a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and a drive to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. As Lead Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of hospitality professionals, driving financial performance, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient task completion
  • Achieve financial targets through effective budget management and cost monitoring
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports to support operational decision-making
  • Lead recruitment efforts and train, mentor, and develop team members to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Create and manage staff rosters, ensuring efficient labour coverage while maintaining team wellbeing
  • Resolve employee issues and conflicts in a professional and timely manner
  • Drive guest satisfaction and build strong, lasting customer relationships
  • Evaluate and maintain compliance with OH&S, Responsible Service of Alcohol, and food hygiene standards

Requirements:

  • Proven bar management experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Approved Managers Card
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities
  • Experience in recruiting, mentoring, training, and developing teams
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
